SarahCare of Campbell was opened in 2006 after searching for a way to provide meaningful service to the elderly community. A successful CEO of a multi-state corporation, Tim’s life changed the day his mother passed away in her apartment, alone but for the Meals on Wheels volunteer who discovered her. Tim wanted to provide hope, a sense of purpose and a reason for living for the elderly community.
Tim opened an Adult Day Care program in order to provide seniors with compassionate daily care with mental and physical stimulation in a loving home-like environment. Tim also recognized the need to provide caregivers support and respite to keep families together and provide some relief from the stress often experienced by caregivers.
Everything SarahCare of Campbell does is based on our core values of Respect, Dignity and Compassion. Participating in SarahCare’s program is an affordable, secure alternative to nursing homes, assisted living facilities and in-home care.
Before starting his career, Tim earned master degrees in Business Administration and Divinity. Tim has enjoyed many opportunities in his professional life, and served in many executive positions. These have included serving as CEO of a multi-state corporation and sitting on several national Boards of Directors.
But Tim still wasn’t satisfied. He wanted to serve others and was drawn to the challenge of improving the quality of life for the elderly, especially those struggling with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
So in 2006 Tim opened SarahCare of Campbell, and shortly thereafter began to work on his Doctoral studies in Business Administration.
After completing his studies, Tim published his dissertation, "The Long Term Care for the Elderly in the San Francisco Bay Area: Needs and Affordability", and was awarded his Doctorate in Business Administration.
Since then, Dr. Dupic has earned Certifications in the care of people with Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease.
One of Tim’s favorite slogans is, "Use it or lose it." To this end, he designed SarahCare’s programs and services so that every participant receives daily mental and physical stimulation. In addition to improving their cognitive and social skills, Tim knows that his participants sleep better when they’re stimulated during the day.
Tim also brought in BrainHQ by Posit Science, a program developed by Stanford Medical Clinic, the Mayo Clinic and the Hope Foundation, to try and improve his participants’ cognitive and mental processing abilities. Tim’s goal is to try and halt, slow down or even reverse cognitive and memory impairment.
Now that his ambition is focused on serving the elderly and their caregivers, Tim believes that "Every day is a celebration."
At SarahCare of Campbell we make sure that every day is new and special.
